Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a DC license, 2 years of L&D experience, and advanced certifications.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital labor and delivery unit,

• Care for pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation through delivery, including scheduled procedures and triage,

• Unit activities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and both vaginal and C-section deliveries,

• Uses fetal monitors and electronic documentation systems, including Cerner and Fetalink,

• Day shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week,

Job Requirements

• Active DC RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience in a US hospital,

• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring,

• Cerner experience required,

• Must provide two manager or supervisor references from the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer,

• Candidate must provide SSN, date of birth, driver's license, and all current certifications for consideration,

• No pending licenses accepted,

Additional Information

• Care for patients needing C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage, and triage evaluation,

• Documentation is completed in Cerner and Fetalink,

• Position requires CPI certification,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as scheduled,

• Scrub or dress code information not specified,

• Candidates must live more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler,
