Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence, a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.
The Clinical Technician (PCT) on our 25-bed Telemetry (Advanced Clinical Care) unit works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team.
- Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
- Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures.
- Performs bedside glucose monitoring and EKG tracing.
- Measures and records intake and output.
- Inserts and removes Foley catheters.
- Answers call lights promptly.

Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia.
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.
- 2 years' experience required.
Minimum $21.44/hour - Maximum $33.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
