Apply for the MRI Technologist – Day Shift at The George Washington University Hospital

- Perform imaging studies including Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, and MRI.
- Demonstrate proficiency in general diagnostic radiology and MRI scanning specifications.
- Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Ensure safe use of implants and metallic objects; evaluate pacemaker safety for MRI.
- Utilize MRI pre‑screening forms and determine safe patient examinations.
- Understand IV contrast injection techniques per ACR guidelines and perform point‑of‑care testing for creatinine.
- Prefer experience in Cardiac, Breast, Functional, Neuro, Body, and MSK MRI scanning.
- Operate 5T GE and Siemens MRI systems.
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
- ARRT certification and MRI certification required.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years as a diagnostic or MRI technologist in a hospital environment.
