Apply for the MRI Technologist – Day Shift at The George Washington University Hospital

• Perform imaging studies including Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, and MRI.
• Demonstrate proficiency in general diagnostic radiology and MRI scanning specifications.
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ensure safe use of implants and metallic objects; evaluate pacemaker safety for MRI.
• Utilize MRI pre‑screening forms and determine safe patient examinations.
• Understand IV contrast injection techniques per ACR guidelines and perform point‑of‑care testing for creatinine.
• Prefer experience in Cardiac, Breast, Functional, Neuro, Body, and MSK MRI scanning.
• Operate 5T GE and Siemens MRI systems.

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
• ARRT certification and MRI certification required.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years as a diagnostic or MRI technologist in a hospital environment.
