About the RoleThe Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist plays a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assist with procedures, manage blood draws, provide patient education, and support the multidisciplinary team to ensure every patient receives exceptional care on their path to parenthood.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine. This is a full-time, onsite role with opportunities at multiple clinic locations:
- Tacoma: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
- Bellevue: 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM
- Seattle: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Schedules are daytime, with up to 2 holidays per year and 2-3 on-call weekend shifts annually.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
- Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
- Ensure a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Education & Licensure:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomist: Active WA state Phlebotomy certification (MA-P).
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience &
Skills:- Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility:
- Willingness to cover weekends, holidays, and work at various locations as needed.
- Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
