  • Maintain awareness of foreign policy issues, relevant technological or industrial developments, and commodities associated with assigned portfolios.

  • Monitor and reconcile financial data from security cooperation systems and provide recurring updates on obligations, expenditures, and program milestones.

  • Participate in program and financial management reviews, planning conferences, and security cooperation working groups.

  • Manage daily activities related to security sector assistance, ensuring timely tracking of funding execution and program milestones.

  • Review proposed U.S. security cooperation activities for alignment with foreign assistance objectives and to ensure they do not conflict with other programs.

  • Support legislative and policy processes, including reviewing proposals, tracking changes in authorizing statutes, and preparing related materials.

  • Conduct research, support senior‑leader engagements, and ensure program activities comply with governing authorities such as the Foreign Assistance Act and Arms Export Control Act.
