• You will maintain Region Emergency Management Plans, directives and procedures.
• You will collect information from multiple sources, evaluate and analyze data during emergency operations.
• You will facilitate emergency planning efforts through the NDW Region Emergency Management Working Group.
• You will develop official agreements and memorandums of understanding between NDW and other organizations for mutual aid and support during emergencies.

• Required to obtain and maintain an interim/final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
• This position may require travel to CONUS/OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites; travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods may be required.
• Supervisors in the executive branch must review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing, implementing, budgeting, and maintaining the Region Emergency Management program;
2) developing and sustaining an emergency management program that supports Region and installation disaster response and recovery requirements;
3) Maintaining region and installation Emergency Management plans, directives and procedures in coordination with tenant commands and local communities; and
4) Representing the Region in matters of emergency operations and contingency planning, training, and exercising to all outside agencies.
