The Global Business Alliance (GBA) is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated professional with at least three years’ worth of experience to help manage its government affairs programming. The Manager of Government Affairs will play a central role in advancing GBA’s strategic external affairs initiatives, including gubernatorial roundtable programming, CEO Leadership Council activities and congressional caucus leaders.

Key Responsibilities- Manage government affairs related events, including membership meetings, CEO level programming, gubernatorial round tables, and Capitol Hill advocacy days
- Partner with internal teams (communications, membership, events) to deliver organizational excellence and enhance member value
- Execute a robust cadence of educational briefings for federal policymakers
- Coordinate with GBA members to advance our advocacy efforts on both the state and federal level
- Develop opportunities for GBA to collaborate with other leading business associations and think tanks
- A minimum of three years working in the government affairs space, ideally for a Member of Congress or within the Administration as a legislative aide, communications director/press secretary, or an equivalent political campaign position
- Experience with or a strong interest in political grassroots engagement, fundraising, or campaign initiatives
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with exacting attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong organizational skills, with excellent follow-through and a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism

This position has a salary range up to $80,000/year depending on skill and experience.
