Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid position based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area, permitting some work-from-home flexibility. The Director of Government Relations will lead Unicoin’s interactions with government agencies, legislative bodies, and regulatory organizations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing government relations strategies, advocating for policies benefiting Unicoin and the broader cryptocurrency space, building partnerships with policymakers, monitoring legislative activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The role requires active collaboration with internal teams to align governmental initiatives with business goals.
- Expertise in Governmental Affairs and Government Relations to effectively represent company interests at all levels of government.
- Strong knowledge of Lobbying and Legislative Relations with experience in building and maintaining partnerships with policymakers and regulators.
- Understanding of Legislation, including policy analysis and compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to impactful advocacy and public statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industries is a strong advantage.
