The Data Collector Assistant is responsible for managing government contact records within a proprietary database through research (via Internet, telephone, email, and government reports), as well as proofreading, conducting data audits, and monitoring websites.
What You’ll Do- Maintain and update database records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct online research to gather relevant information and insights.
- Engage in telephone outreach to collect data or verify details.
- Manage email communications for follow‑ups and information gathering.
- Perform data audits to ensure consistency and data integrity.
- Proofread documents to ensure clarity and error‑free content.
- Monitor and analyze websites for content updates or discrepancies.
- Evaluate government reports to extract and assess important information.
- You are highly organized, with a knack for managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- You are a strong communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with others.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with solid skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more.
- You are a skilled researcher, with a talent for gathering and analyzing information.
- You are detail‑oriented, ensuring precision and thoroughness in all tasks.
- You are passionate about political science, civics, or advocacy, with a genuine interest in these fields.
The Data Collection Team oversees the maintenance of one of the world’s largest government contacts databases. The coverage includes the U.S. Federal Government, U.S. State Governments, U.S. County Governments and U.S. Municipal Governments. The coverage also includes U.S. federal and state candidates. Additional databases cover government contacts from nearly 40 countries and the European Union.
The Data team members work in the Belo Horizonte office, in hybrid, and fully remote arrangements.
Our team loves to spend time doing fun things outside of the office, which we call Quorum Fun events. Past Quorum Fun events have included apple picking, yoga, and wine tasting.
