About the Company: The National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) is a new non‑profit organization dedicated to helping Americans understand and use crypto with confidence. We demystify crypto and serve as a resource for anyone and everyone using, holding, or wanting to learn more. We give a voice to the real people and businesses using crypto today and provide educational resources to navigate the hype and confusion, as well as offering support through strategic partnerships and services.
Aboutthe Role
NCA seeks a Senior Policy Manager to support engagement efforts across the United States. This professional will advance NCA’s strategic goals by managing relationships with key policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders, advising on regulatory matters, and supporting policy initiatives that impact crypto in America.
Primary Objectives- Educate policymakers on crypto adoption and usage nationwide, enabling informed regulatory decisions.
- Educate consumers and businesses on U.S. crypto policies as they are enacted, ensuring responsible technology use.
- Create opportunities for NCA to engage with policymakers, regulators, and industry influencers at the federal and state levels.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand NCA’s needs and advise on the impact of public policy developments.
- Monitor, analyze, and engage on legislative and regulatory initiatives including digital assets, payments, and financial services.
- Educate stakeholders on NCA’s work and role in representing everyday American crypto holders.
- Draft comment letters, consultation responses, and policy papers advocating responsible innovation in digital assets.
- Build a strong network of support among key external partners such as trade associations, industry groups, and advocacy organizations.
- Represent NCA at public events, panels, and meetings with government stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external consultants and membership organizations supporting NCA’s policy objectives.
- 7+ years in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory engagement, ideally in emerging technology, payments, financial services, or crypto‑related fields.
- Direct experience interacting with federal and state policymakers, regulators, and legislative staff.
- Knowledge of digital asset and blockchain policy preferred, or a strong tech background with a demonstrated interest in learning about blockchain and crypto.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience drafting policy documents and delivering executive‑level presentations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker, able to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
- Highly self‑motivated, sound judgment, trustworthiness, and initiative.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
- Base Salary: $190,000, with a performance bonus up to 20%.
