Position Overview

Mac More is seeking Grants Specialists to support USAID’s Agency‑wide grant closeout and assistance administration activities. This role focuses on post‑award administration, financial review, and compliant closeout of federal assistance instruments. Grants Specialists will work closely with Agreement Officers to ensure grants are closed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with U.S. Government and USAID requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare post‑award grant documentation for review and approval.
  • Perform grant administration and closeout activities.
  • Negotiate final budgets and resolve outstanding grant issues.
  • Conduct detailed financial and cost reviews to determine allowability.
  • Communicate directly with grantees regarding closeout requirements.
  • Support audit readiness and documentation for finalized awards.
  • Track closeout actions and provide status reporting as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least five (5) years of experience in U.S. Government grant management.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience terminating grants and negotiating final award budgets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience operating independently in a high‑volume environment.
