A large organization in the mortgage and fixed income financial services sector is seeking a Senior Consultant – Financial & Mortgage Analysis to support a high-impact, long-term initiative focused on analyzing and modeling large-scale mortgage and debt-related datasets.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong quantitative finance foundation who have hands-on experience applying Python-based financial modeling techniques to large datasets beyond traditional Excel capacity.
Candidates must be immediately available to interview and start, and able to commute onsite in Washington, DC three days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enhance financial models supporting mortgage, fixed income, and cash flow analytics.
- Perform quantitative analysis on large datasets to support risk assessment, forecasting, and loan performance simulations.
- Apply advanced modeling techniques such as cash flow modeling and machine learning-based forecasting (preferred).
- Transform raw financial and operational data into high-quality, client-facing deliverables.
