Washington, DC - Investment Management Junior/Midlevel Associates
Morgan Lewis is seeking two associates, one junior with one to three years of experience and one midlevel with four to five years of large law firm experience, to join our investment management practice focusing on the regulation of retail investment advice.
Qualifications- One to three years of experience with regulatory matters in the financial services space (e.g., broker‑dealer, investment adviser, retirement/Title I of ERISA).
- Comparable law firm experience and/or experience working at a financial institution or regulator.
- Familiarity and demonstrated experience with the federal securities laws.
- Strong organization, drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Willingness to engage with various aspects of financial institutions regulatory practice, including regulatory compliance, product design and implementation, and securities examinations and enforcement.
- Active bar member in the District of Columbia.
Salary range: $225,000 – $435,000 for Washington, DC positions.
