Revenue Cycle Solutions Architect

Overview

The GMS Cost Estimator assembles and analyzes data to forecast profit and loss related to healthcare services, projects, or operational changes aiding financial planning and decision-making. Key responsibilities include cost analysis and forecasting, collaboration with stakeholders, cost management, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and statutes. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, accounting, engineering, or business), strong analytical and technical skills, experience in healthcare cost estimation, and preferred professional certifications such as CCP or CEP.

• Data Analysis and Cost Forecasting:
  Analyzing available documentation to understand scope, identifying cost-influencing factors, and using historical data, trends, and research for accurate projections.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Working with project teams and stakeholders, managing bids from vendors, and presenting detailed cost models and analyses to management and clients.
• Cost Management and Optimization:
  Evaluating cost alternatives and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance and Documentation:
  Assisting with regulatory compliance, including cost transparency requirements, and maintaining cost databases and documentation.
• Other Duties as Assigned:
  Additional responsibilities may be assigned as appropriate.

• Requires a University Degree and minimum 6-8 years of prior relevant experience; some roles may require graduate-level education (Master’s or Doctorate). Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• 6 years in cost estimation techniques, modeling, and financial analysis, advanced Excel knowledge, and familiarity with industry software and databases.
• Healthcare revenue cycle knowledge.
• Experience with revenue cycle managed services or advisory services.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills for teamwork and meeting deadlines.

• A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or business administration is preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  Professional certifications like Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Estimating (AACE International) are preferred.

Salary:
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
