Overview

We are currently partnered with a leading Middle Market Private Equity firm based in the heart of Washington, DC as they look to add a Private Equity Associate to their team later this year. With a total of just under $2.5B in AUM, 35+ portfolio companies, and a new fund on the horizon, the team is looking to continue their level of activity for the next several years.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify investment opportunities.
Build financial models and perform valuation analyses.
Assist in due diligence and deal execution processes.
Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and performance tracking.
Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Passion for technology and entrepreneurship.
Strong ties to the Southeast - specifically Washington, DC
