Those in mergers and acquisition tax at PwC will focus on providing tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. Your work will involve analysing the tax implications of such transactions, developing tax structures, and assisting clients in navigating complex tax regulations to optimise tax outcomes.

As part of the Merger and Acquisition Tax team you are bringing benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Senior Manager you will supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement work streams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. You will also leverage team strengths, manage performance to deliver on client expectations, and embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 5 years of experience.
- A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
- Juris Doctorate preferred.
- Broad knowledge in partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Tax consulting services, transaction structuring for tax issues, restructuring, strategy formulation, financial modeling and tax planning.
- Proficiency in partnership taxation and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in U.S. federal income tax law related to partnerships.
- Advanced technical writing and reviewing skills.
- Ability to develop and sustain meaningful client relationships.
- Experience in defining resource requirements and project workflow.
- Experience in roles managing consulting engagements for a global network of professional services consulting firms, especially the areas of partnership M&A, private equity and post-deal integration.
- Proven leadership in establishing direction and motivating team members.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
