Salary Range: $80,000K – $110,000K/annum

Job Description: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support core accounting operations and financial planning activities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role will serve as a key partner to finance leadership by managing day-to-day accounting functions while delivering financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on Quick Books experience, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations. This position requires someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable working across cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, and Leadership.

• Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Month-End Close using Quick Books
• Oversee project and grant accounting by tracking budgets, monitoring burn rates, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and analysis to support executive decision-making
• Analyze financial performance trends and provide actionable business recommendations
• Support financial audits, annual budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Improve and streamline financial processes using tools such as  and other financial systems
• Administer multi-state and multi-country payroll ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements
• Partner with HR and leadership teams to manage compensation updates, bonuses, and new hire payroll setup
• Maintain payroll and compensation records aligned with HRIS and financial reporting systems
• Support compensation planning cycles through cost modeling, impact analysis, and reconciliations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Quick Books (Desktop or Online)
• Experience using  or similar payment processing platforms
• Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to maintain audit-ready financial records
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, reporting, and dashboard creation
• Experience with project accounting, preferably in grant-funded, contract, or consulting environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience supporting healthcare, public health, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
• Knowledge of federal grant accounting and compliance requirements (OMB Uniform Guidance preferred)
• Experience with indirect cost allocations and cost rate calculations
• Exposure to ERP or additional financial systems beyond Quick Books
• Experience partnering with HR or People teams on payroll and compensation processes
• Self-starter who thrives in collaborative, high-growth environments and takes ownership of financial accuracy and process improvement
