Financial Modelers

Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Description

Modelers will work with various financial models such as Mortgage Behavior models, Valuation models, etc.

Require 6-10 years of experience as a Financial Modeler. Responsibilities include reviewing technical concepts, discussing with Financial Engineers and users, and acting as a bridge between them.

Take financial models, document requirements, conduct testing, and explain testing results and defects to Financial Engineers. This role does not involve coding or building financial models but working closely with Financial Engineers and Data Scientists.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Python, R, and C++ (preferred). Comfortable with Cloud platforms like S3 Bucket and Redshift.

Strong quantitative skills in Math, Statistics, Simulation, and Interpretation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
