Salary range: $70,000-$90,000/annually + generous benefits package and professional development opportunities. DOE
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations and financial activity for clientsOversee income recordkeeping into compliance database and accounting fileProcess disbursements and track outstanding invoicesProcess client payrollAssist Compliance Director in managing client’s budget and track cash flowOn-boarding and off-boarding client staffTrack and process 1099sMaintain compliance with GAAPPerform bank and compliance software reconciliationsOversee compliance correspondenceAssist Compliance Director with client procurement and maintaining vendor relationshipsAssist providing financial reports to clientsPrepare and file federal and non-federal campaign finance reportsExperience and Skills
3-5 years of experience work with political or non-profit organizationsAt least one year of experience with non-profit and/or campaign finance complianceStrong attention to detail and organizedModerate to advance experience with Excel, Google Business Suite, and DropboxAbility to manage multiple projects at once and meet strict deadlinesAbility to work evenings and weekends to meet deadlinesWillingness to take initiativeBookkeeping experiencePrevious experience with Quickbooks Online (preferred)Bachelor’s degreeCommitment to supporting progressive causesCommitment to working within a diverse and inclusive work spaceA background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment has been made to a candidate.
