Job Description
JMA Solutions, a dynamic management consulting firm with headquarters in Washington, D.C. is seeking Federal Financial Analysts for multiple positions in multiple locations throughout the country to include Washington,
D.C, Oklahoma City, OK, Anchorage, Alaska, and Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Position Summary
This role is primarily responsible for the coordination, accounting, planning, and administrative functions associated with control and allocation of funding. This includes understanding and management of government reimbursable agreements, development and maintenance of supporting documentation, providing accounting analysis, ensuring timely billing and collection, and cataloging transactional evidence. This role will also conduct and document quality control reviews on reimbursable projects.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in financial management, auditing, and internal controls, preferably in the federal government or military. Roles of expanded scope may require eight years of experience.
- Prior experience with intra/inter-organizational reimbursable agreements within the Treasury G-Invoicing system.
- Experience with government accounting systems (e.g. Delphi, REGIS, PRISM, DFAS, E2, travel systems, etc.).
- Experience with work and resource collaboration and management tools (e.g. Smartsheet).
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures for a Business Services Team.
- Experience in creating dashboards and other visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc).
- Correspond to relevant organizations to validate expenditures.
- Familiar with funding documents such as Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
Additional Desired Experience
- FAA experience, specifically ATO Technical Operations.
- Experience with multi-organizational reimbursable agreements, including the military.
- Certification as a CPA, CRMP, or CGFM (requires certification and 10 years of experience).
This role must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
The starting salary range for this role is $85, depending upon experience.
