Financial Analyst; HHS-ASPR

Be among the first 25 applicants. Drodex is recruiting a Sr. Financial Analyst to support a high visibility and high-impact office within the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is responsible for the nation’s public health preparedness and emergency response. ASPR was created in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.

Location: Washington, DC

Onsite Requirements: At least 1 day per week

• Analyzing, preparing, and presenting monthly and yearly financial data, analyzing resources and expenses, and assisting in verifying and maintaining financial data integrity.
• Overseeing and conducting financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting and develops metrics to drive process improvements and provide decision support to staff leadership.
• Providing Subject Matter expertise in financial planning and budget execution.
• Providing business and financial expertise to programmatic offices. Responsible for drafting, analyzing, and documenting current business processes.
• Working with process owners, program leaders, participants, and end users to develop and implement improved financial models.
• Providing financial spending plan administration for OOR Programs Division.

  Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree
• Required Experience: 4-8 years in government financial planning and budget execution; management of multiple spend plans and budgets concurrently; proficient with Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power BI and Excel)

  Experience with complex federal portfolios; strong interpersonal and communications skills; effective team player; motivated self-starter
• Required Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 Security Clearance
