Sr Accountant - Asset Management
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.
* Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Oversee the preparation of reports for stakeholders and auditors.
* Utilize accounting software, including Quick Books and ADP, for efficient financial management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial concepts and performance metrics.
* Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts to guide organizational planning.
* Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications:
* Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role
* Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
* Excellent understanding of debits, credits, and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
