The Opportunity

You’ll work directly with senior investors on the full lifecycle of private equity transactions — from sourcing and diligence through execution and portfolio value creation. The role offers real responsibility

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities across industrial subsectors
  • Build and review detailed financial models (LBO, operating cases, sensitivities)
  • Lead commercial, financial, and operational diligence work streams
  • Prepare investment committee materials and internal memos
  • Support transaction execution and ongoing portfolio company initiatives
  • Work closely with senior leadership, advisors, and management teams
Candidate Profile
  • 1–4 years of experience in:
  • Investment Banking (M&A)
    or
  • Private Equity (Associate level, open to laterals)
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
  • Demonstrated interest in private equity and industrial businesses
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong ties to Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia (personal or professional)
