Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle, from opportunity identification through due diligence and post‑transaction value realization.
We take a multi‑specialist approach, bringing together deep industry and functional expertise, supported by proprietary approaches and a world‑class network. This enables our clients to achieve differentiated results on deals and post‑transaction.

ResponsibilitiesWe are not typical “management” consultants. We provide industry‑ and discipline‑specific knowledge and expertise to amplify our impact and help shape the future for our clients.
The team is looking for experienced professionals who are—or are willing to focus on—Aerospace & Defense private equity engagements, with particular emphasis on commercial aerospace.
Qualifications- Professional working experience with exposure to commercial and operational due diligence in a management consulting firm.
- Experience working across or within private equity industries.
- Knowledge and in‑depth experience with customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
- A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Fluent in English.
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
- Initiative to seek out opportunities to learn new skills and apply existing ones.
- Creativity and the ability to generate novel ideas for solving complex problems.
- Analytical aptitude, e.g., sniffing out clues in massive data sets or identifying key issues in complex challenges.
- A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a highly talented team.
Base salary range: $225,000 – $240,000 (determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education).
In addition to the base salary, the position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
