Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Manager (title dependent on experience). You will drive our accounting and finance operations as the company continues to scale, reporting to the Controller. This role manages all core accounting functions, drives process improvements, assists in implementing new financial systems, and ensures timely and accurate financial reporting. Senior‑level candidates will take on additional strategic responsibilities and ownership of more complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

Core Accounting Functions
  • Manage all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including:
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Payroll
    • General Ledger
    • T&E
    • Reporting
  • Own the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Systems & ERP Implementation
  • Support and help drive the implementation of a new ERP system, including planning, data migration, process design, and team adoption.
  • Optimize system usage to automate workflows, streamline data integrity, and support long‑term scalability.
  • Senior‑level candidates will serve as a project lead, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to design future‑state processes.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure financial statements and internal reports are completed in accordance with GAAP and company standards.
  • Support annual audits and work closely with external auditors.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and organizational control.
Leadership & Strategy
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong internal controls, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Senior‑level candidates will:
    • Partner with leadership to support strategic decision‑making through accurate financial reporting and insights.
    • Drive initiatives related to scaling the finance function.
    • Represent accounting in cross‑functional discussions.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial workflows, reporting structures, and accounting systems.
  • Drive automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency across the department.
  • Enhance financial reporting processes to support real‑time, meaningful business insights.
Who You Are

You are a hands‑on accounting leader with strong operational discipline and a passion for building scalable finance processes. You thrive in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also thinking strategically. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong ownership mentality, and the ability to partner effectively across the organization. Senior‑level candidates bring demonstrated leadership experience and a track record of driving meaningful transformation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience (Manager); at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Manager).
  • Demonstrated success implementing or upgrading an ERP or finance system.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting best practices.
  • Experience in a high‑growth or scaling environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with global consolidations and multi‑entity organizations.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Senior‑level candidates should bring:
    • Expanded leadership responsibility in prior roles.
    • A track record of driving transformative process improvements or system initiatives.

Salary range: $108,000 - $162,000
