Chief Financial Officer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function of our organization. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and act as a trusted partner to the CEO,, and private‑equity stakeholders. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, operational discipline, and scalable growth within a manufacturing environment.

• Lead the company’s financial strategy in alignment with operational and growth objectives.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and audit functions.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning across manufacturing operations.
• Provide clear and timely financial reporting and insights to leadership, the board, and private‑equity partners.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and lender or investor requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, inventory, and capital allocation.
• Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, and margin analysis across plant‑level operations.
• Partner with operations and supply‑chain leaders to improve efficiency, profitability, and throughput.
• Lead capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and manufacturing investments.
• Support value‑creation initiatives including operational improvements, pricing strategy, and cost optimization.
• Lead financial support for M&A, integration activities, and transaction readiness.
• Prepare the organization for audits, lender reporting, and potential exit events.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high performing finance and accounting team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and plant‑level financial operations.
• Experience working with private‑equity sponsors, operating partners, and PE boards.
• Proven ability to manage EBITDA, cash flow, and leverage in a PE‑backed environment.
• Experience with ERP systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audits, and lender reporting.
• Hands‑on leader with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presence.
