About the job Business Banking Relationship Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Banking Relationship Manager to manage and grow relationships with small to mid‑sized business clients. This role is responsible for delivering tailored banking solutions, deepening client relationships, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of business clients, focusing on relationship building and revenue growth.
  • Understand clients' financial needs and deliver appropriate banking solutions including loans, credit lines, treasury services, and deposits.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and referrals.
  • Provide excellent service and act as the primary point of contact for business clients.
  • Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess client creditworthiness and recommend loan structures.
  • Work closely with internal departments (credit, risk, operations) to ensure timely processing and servicing of client requests.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, risk management standards, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 37 years of experience in business banking, commercial banking, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and client satisfaction targets.
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting, financial analysis, and loan structuring.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and banking software.
  • Relationship management.
  • Strategic thinking and sales acumen.
  • Financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
