About the OpportunityOur client is a commercial real estate investor, seeking an experienced Part-Time / Fractional CFO to provide senior-level financial leadership during a period of growth and increased complexity. The firm is actively navigating acquisitions, entity structuring, system implementation, and heightened focus on cash flow management.
This role is intentionally structured as a part-time, 6-month contract-to-hire engagement, with the expectation that the CFO will initially operate in a fractional capacity and potentially grow into a full-time executive role over the next 12–24 months as the business scales.
The CFO will focus on strategy, oversight, and advisory, partnering closely with the partners and existing accounting resources rather than owning day-to-day accounting execution.

- Advise on capital planning, liquidity strategy, and financial risk management

- Support leadership in understanding short- and long-term liquidity implications of acquisitions and projects
- Advise on entity structuring, SPVs, and partnership-level financial considerations
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and accounting advisors to ensure structures support growth and compliance
- Help evaluate and refine how entities are organized from a financial and operational standpoint
- Provide financial support and analysis related to acquisitions and major transactions
- Assist leadership in evaluating deal economics, returns, and financial implications
- Support post-acquisition integration from a financial oversight perspective
- Partner closely with existing internal and external accountants
- Provide executive-level oversight without duplicating bookkeeping or transactional accounting work
- Ensure financial reporting aligns with strategic objectives and partner expectations
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience strongly preferred
- Experience in real estate, investments, private equity-backed, or transaction-driven environments
- Strong expertise in:
- Cash flow management
- Budgeting and forecasting

- Comfortable operating in a fractional / part-time executive role
- Ability to communicate clearly with partners and provide strategic financial insight
