We are partnering with a trusted client in the Baltimore area seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with strong experience in partnership taxation. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review partnership tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Assist with federal, state, and local tax compliance for complex partnership structures.
- Support quarterly and annual tax provisions, estimates, and extensions.
- Conduct research on partnership tax issues and prepare technical memos as needed.
- Assist with maintaining tax records and documentation for compliance and audit support.
- Collaborate with internal teams across accounting, finance, and operations.
- Support tax planning initiatives and contribute to process improvements.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc tax analysis for leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Master’s in Taxation a plus. - 3–6+ years of tax experience, preferably with a focus on partnership tax.
- Experience in public accounting and/or private industry tax departments.
- CPA or progress toward CPA highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of partnership tax regulations and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
