Billing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit invoices in accordance with contract terms, FAR/DFARS requirements, and internal policies.
• Manage billing for a variety of contract types, including T&M, Cost‑Plus, Fixed‑Fee, and Firm Fixed Price.
• Reconcile unbilled balances and research/resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracts, and Finance to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain detailed documentation to support invoice packages and audit requests.
• Monitor funding, contract modifications, and revenue impacts.
• Assist with month‑end close activities related to billing and revenue recognition.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.

• 3+ years of billing experience within the Government Contracting industry.
• Hands‑on Costpoint billing experience (Costpoint 7 or Costpoint 8 preferred).
• Strong understanding of federal contract types and billing requirements.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and general Gov Con compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional teams.

• Experience supporting DCAA audits or incurred cost submissions.
• Exposure to revenue recognition concepts under ASC 606.

Northern Virginia (onsite, hybrid, or remote flexibility depending on client needs).
