The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. The position is in support of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Launcher (SP22), Guidance and Fire Control (SP23), Navigation (SP24), and Ship Integration (SP26) branches. Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) is seeking a Technical Program Analyst to join our Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG), supporting the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).

This position provides direct support to the Launcher (SP22), Guidance and Fire Control (SP23), Navigation (SP24), and Ship Integration (SP26) branches of SSP. The role will focus on risk management support to these three branches and utilize knowledge of Strategic Weapons System (SWS) integration, submarine platform modernization, and Navy acquisition processes. This position will be based in Washington, D.C. Washington D.C. Pay Transparency Range: $100,000 - $140,000/year Responsibilities The Technical Program Analyst will join a team of analysts who provide technical and programmatic support, with a focus on risk management, to SSP's Launcher (SP22), Guidance and Fire Control (SP23), Navigation (SP24), and Ship Integration (SP26) branches.

This individual will support the development and maintenance of branch risk management plans, maintain branch risk registers, facilitate risk review boards, assist in the development of new risks, track risk mitigation steps and adjudicate updates to established risks, and generate risk-related reporting and briefings as required. The individual in this role should be familiar with interacting with a range of programmatic and technical stakeholders both in government and industry and comfortable briefing senior leadership.

The specific duties and responsibilities outlined above are subject to change based on the evolving needs of the program. Any significant changes will be communicated and discussed prior to the employee's start date. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Active DoD SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET strongly preferred).
* 3-5 years of experience with Navy submarine systems, SWS integration, or launcher/nav/combat system operation, development, and/or testing.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline, or a non-technical degree with commensurate technical experience relevant to the role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project) as well as Jira and Confluence.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing senior leader briefings. Desired

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
* Prior SSP or NAVSEA experience, particularly with SP22, SP23, SP24, or SP26.
* Background in defense acquisition, nuclear weapons systems, or SWS acquisition planning.
