About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated Junior Big Data Engineer to join our data team. You will support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and big data systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a strong data engineering professional.
You will work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to ensure reliable data processing and efficient data architecture.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Postgre
SQL, MySQL) - Familiarity with big data tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Hive, or Apache Airflow
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
