Position: Naval Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Naval Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will support high-visibility Navy programs by delivering expert technical analysis and innovative solutions that enhance mission success and operational excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Plan, design, and implement systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components

* Analyze, modify, test, and maintain systems to meet performance, security, and compliance standards

* Verify and validate systems to ensure alignment with internal and external requirements

* Provide expert diagnosis and solutions for system issues in existing and new environments

* Conduct engineering evaluations to support on-time, on-budget project completion

* Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute project plans

* Review policies, procedures, and performance reports to maintain regulatory and operational standards

* Develop schedules, budgets, specifications, and resource plans for engineering projects

* Select materials, tools, staff, and vendors to support system development and deployment

* Lead or contribute to high-visibility Navy programs through specialized technical and business expertise

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering

* 4+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractor

* Familiarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05

* Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacity Clearance Requirements:
* Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
