Position: SUPERVISORY ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will serve as the command expert for Facilities Engineering Command (FEC) Operational matters.
* You will be responsible for oversight, review, coordination and execution of the facilities management, planning, engineering, acquisition, construction, base operation support, and environmental products and services.
* You will lead planning with FEC top management to accomplish long-range programs and/or to reorganize priorities and work schedules.
* You will oversee and manage the mission execution by all FEC Business Lines, Support Lines, and Command Staff to ensure all work proceeds according to established NAVFAC business rules and guidelines,
* You will track work execution to ensure delivery of products and services within the schedule and cost constraints identified by the supported commander.
* You will provide authoritative advice to the Commanding Officer on all product and service delivery matters delivered by NAVFAC to meet mission requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition

and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
* Registration as Professional Engineer OR Registered Architect is required. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying engineering theories, principles, and practices to lead and manage major programs across construction, environmental restoration, planning, real estate, and facilities sustainment. The role demands mastery in executive-level management, strategic planning, budgeting, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while navigating complex organizational structures and regulatory environments. Candidates must demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills to address issues beyond standard procedures, as well as deep familiarity with NAVFAC products and military command operations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept negotiation abilities, and proven leadership in high-level decision-making environments are essential.
