Regional Building Engineer

Overview

The Regional Building Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained and operating efficiently. This role includes surveying, troubleshooting, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and other systems within the facility. The Regional Building Engineer will work closely with the account manager and project manager to ensure projects and surveys are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards.

Travel within the region is required (approximately 80%).

• Perform maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance on building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and related equipment.
• Survey, troubleshoot, and complete basic repairs; document conditions and actions taken.
• Coordinate with account manager and project manager to ensure projects and surveys are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Travel within the region as required (approximately 80%).

• Pay: 38.30 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position and a specific offer will vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data alignment.
• 401(k): You become eligible to contribute starting the first of the month following 30 days of employment. ABM matches pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar contributed. Contributions and match are immediately vested.
• Vehicle: A vehicle, necessary equipment, and fuel card will be provided.
