Environmental Safety & Health Manager at K , Inc. This role will be located at an OCONUS location and 100% onsite.

TheMission Ahead
This role is within the K /NSS Intel division. At K Government Solutions, we create a safer, more secure, and sustainable world through advanced full life cycle professional and technical solutions, with a focus on operational readiness and innovation. We work with the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, NASA, and other key federal entities across engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT, and cybersecurity.
WhatYou Are
You’re a dedicated Environmental Safety & Health Manager with a passion for creating safe, sustainable, and compliant work environments. You bring a deep understanding of EHS regulations, risk assessment, and safety practices, with a proactive problem-solving approach and attention to detail. You can identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks that impact mission success for our customers. You will safeguard people, property, and the environment, ensure adherence to the highest safety standards, communicate effectively, train personnel, conduct inspections, and implement EHS programs that enhance operational readiness and resilience.

- Manage environmental programs for compliance, pollution prevention, and/or natural resource protection programs.
- Prepare and oversee SOWs and cost estimates for environmental studies, designs, and projects.
- Continually ensure and monitor compliance and investigations of non-compliant issues.
- Establish and manage hazardous waste storage and disposal policies and practices.
- Oversee identification and validation of potential contaminated sites and development/implementation of remedial action plans.
- Manage staff, budget and policies affecting specific programs.
- Other duties as required.
- Must possess an active US Secret security clearance and be eligible and willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI w/ Poly.
- Five plus (5)+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Fire Protection Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; OR H.S. Diploma or equivalent AND 10+ years’ experience in the related discipline.
- Credentialed/Certified in one of the relevant areas of expertise:
Professional Engineer License, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, qualified environmental professional or approved equivalent. - Expert knowledge of occupational safety and health including fire protection engineering, environmental compliance, restoration management concepts, principles, practices, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS.
