This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Electrical Project Manager/Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The role combines design work with project management, with a customer‑focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project.
Responsibilities- Project management of a team of engineers/designers to complete electrical design projects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project.
- Interface with clients and owners.
- Write project specifications.
- Manage project budgets.
- Meet with clients to obtain future work.
- Design building and site lighting systems.
- Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.
- Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
- Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.
- Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
- Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review.
- Perform construction site visits and write field reports.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in the A/E/C industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent attention to detail
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000
. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
