The Technical Director/Chief Engineer is the principal technical authority, responsible for the design, integration, and technical excellence of all software, AI/ML, and enterprise solutions. This leader ensures that technical strategies align with mission goals and that innovative, secure, and scalable solutions are delivered.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and integration of advanced software architectures, AI/ML systems, and enterprise IT solutions.
- Establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks across all project teams.
- Guide the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.
- Oversee technical risk assessments, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to translate mission needs into actionable technical requirements and solutions.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all security, data rights, and performance requirements.
- At least 10 years of experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on software architecture, AI/ML, and enterprise integration.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Proven track record of leading large‑scale technical projects in secure environments.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship (required for classified work).
- Ability to deploy globally as required by mission needs.
