Responsibilities- Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations.
- Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
- Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies.
- Key duties include conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems for proper operation, and providing technical support to customers.
- Field Technicians must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Clearance/Citizen Type: ACTIVE TOP SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED. Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship.
- Education: HS diploma or GED with Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; plus an additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Network - Cisco, Dell, HP; ACS - Software House, Shlage, Von Duprin, Kantech, Locknetics, Securiton, Bosch; IDS - Optex, AD Pro, Bosch, Honeywell, Sentrol, Optex; VMS - Bosch, Axis, Verint/Intellicene;
Duress/Emergency/Intercom - Invovonics, Airphone, Norcon, Stentofon;
Screening - Leidos, Smiths Detection, Helfenbein, CEIA, Rapiscan, Gatekeeper; 3 years experience in electronic security systems; OSHA 30 certification - Required Progressive
Experience:
6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs;
Strong oral, written and presentation skills;
Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams;
Time management and organization skills;
Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (a plus);
Requires a valid driver's license and may require use of a company vehicle;
Acceptable driving record per policy.
