Location:

CONUS - Washington, DC Metro Area or Telework (Remote) as Authorized.

We seek candidates with relevant Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector experience (functional and technical expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagements for Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector Clients such as the DOE. Primary activities serve a branch of the DOE responsible for overseeing various nuclear-related activities, focusing on managing and supporting operations related to nuclear energy, research, and environmental management.

This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position. Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position. This role aligns with functional/technical service requirements and client engagements in the Nuclear and Environmental Management sector:

Job Overview

Provide Nuclear Energy SME support in the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector, focusing on Engineering Solutions for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE | NE) and Idaho Operations Office, with potential for remote work and regional involvement.

Seeking a highly qualified Nuclear Energy SME to represent the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy (DOE/NE) regarding the AC-100M Centrifuge Development and Licensing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in nuclear energy technologies, specifically in the development, demonstration, and operations of the AC-100M centrifuge. Primary responsibilities include providing independent technical reviews in centrifuge design, manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance, and Balance of Plant support systems and deployment.

• Conduct independent technical reviews in centrifuge design, manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Provide expertise in Balance of Plant support systems and deployment.
• Collaborate with DOE to assess reports and presentations related to centrifuge development and licensing.
• Support DOE in the evaluation of enrichment capability deployment projects.
• Ensure compliance with program schedules, cost containment, and performance metrics.
• Assist in the hiring and retention of key personnel for project execution.
• Mitigate risks associated with project implementation.
