Project Engineer - Mid
Location:
REMOTE
* Provide engineering and technical services to support SEA 05S and SEA 05T and indirectly other SEA 05 Engineering Groups, Ship Design Managers, Technical Authorities, SEA 05-related Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) primarily for Combatant Ships with Lessons Learned applicable to the Navy.
* The contractor will provide engineering policy, standards & industrial engineering support as needed.
* Candidate will assist NAVSEA 05T/05S with program management support upon request for established and new engineering and innovation efforts.
* Support SEA
05T as Liaison between Government funded private sector initiatives to work towards implementation in the Shipyard and other areas.
* Provide link between government program offices and private sector.
* Expediate test and evaluation of products and technology and capabilities to support Combatants and across Surface Ship Enterprise.
* The contractor shall provide services and activities to include developing briefings, supporting, drafting white papers, drafting instructions, drafting metrics scorecards, and establish and utilize tracking tools to support program measures to support Fleet readiness.
* Provide services to support improvements to technical specification, developing maintenance documentation updates and procedures to improve ship operations and ship and crew safety.
* Prepare reports on program requirements, progress, and issues; and provide mitigation recommendations. Required Skills and or Experiences:
* Ideal candidate should have 10 + years relevant experience
* Must be a U.S. citizen
* A secret security clearance Degree Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in a technical field or a commensurate level of experience
