Who You Are:We are seeking to hire a Junior Transportation Engineer with knowledge and experience in traffic engineering and design. The ideal candidate will have up 0-2 years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a degree in Civil Engineering. This position allows for exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including design and analysis work and exposure to project development from concept to the final design.
Responsibilities:- Production of transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Disciplines may include temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, lighting networks.
- Performance of traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling
- Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or other related fields
- 0-2 years of Civil Engineering experience
- Ability and desire to operate professionally in a team environment
- E.I.T.
- Experience using Micro Station, AutoCAD, Synchro, and/or Vissim
- M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
