Customer Experience Coordinator, Nationals Baseball Summer Camps:

Join to apply for the Customer Experience Coordinator, Nationals Baseball Summer Camps:  role at Headfirst Professional Sports Camps. Nationals Baseball Camps deliver summer baseball experiences for ages 5-13, designed to teach the game, celebrate Nationals traditions, and create memorable experiences. Campers build confidence, form friendships, and engage with the energy, history, and culture of the Nationals.

Responsibilities
  • As the Customer Experience Coordinator, you are a key member of the site leadership team and own the family experience at camp.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families from arrival to dismissal, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident in their camper’s day.
  • Collaborate with fellow site leaders and Headquarters to ensure the camp experience is thoughtful, professional, and consistent.
  • Own family communication and contribute to daily decision-making on site.
  • Communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with parents, responding to questions and requests in a timely, supportive manner.
  • Capture photos and short videos of daily activities (following safety and privacy guidelines) to help families feel connected.
  • Manage family accounts and document conversations using Hub Spot and League Apps.
  • Coordinate with Headquarters and site leadership to resolve issues and deliver high-quality service.
  • Anticipate details that may impact a camper or family and proactively problem-solve.
  • Share relevant updates with site leaders to support smooth daily operations.
  • Represent the Washington Nationals and Headfirst with warmth, clarity, and professionalism in interactions with families, campers, and partners.
  • Address safety or behavior concerns with families in a timely, calm, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support a positive, high-quality camp experience.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Completed at least two years at an accredited undergraduate institution or equivalent educational experience.
  • Coursework or experience in communications, customer service, education, sport management, marketing, hospitality, youth programs, or related field preferred.
  • Comfortable communicating with families in person, over the phone, and in writing; organized, detail-oriented, and responsive; friendly, calm, and confident when handling questions or concerns.
  • Enjoy working with children and contributing to a collaborative team environment; adaptable and patient with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Committed to the camp’s mission, program quality, and a supportive team environment for the full camp season.
  • Possess or be able to obtain valid CPR/First Aid Certification prior to the start of camp.
  • Physical ability: remain upright and standing for multiple hours, move quickly around outdoor fields, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs of equipment.
  • Adherence to the Washington Nationals Summer Camp Cell-Phone Free policy.
Availability, Location, and Compensation
  • Schedule:

    Monday–Friday, 7:15 am – 3:45 pm.
  • Time commitment available for pre-camp training and all weeks of programming.
  • Compensation: $19/hour with up to 2.5 hours of overtime per week paid at 1.5x rate.
  • Camp dates and locations:  (locations may change weekly).
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to site each day.
  • Extended opportunities:
    Hitting and fielding small-group lessons Monday–Friday, 3:15–4:00 pm (paid at $43.75 per lesson).
