Salary range: $47,000 to $62,000 annually
Schedule:
Full‑time, four 10‑hour days
About The Position:
Early Childhood Educators will provide care in our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool pods. Candidates demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, operational and people skills, and a commitment to high quality early care and education.
- Demonstrate Brynmor’s vision, mission, values, and beliefs that center children, families, and educators.
- Ensure the safety, care, well‑being, and learning of children at all times and compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain high‑quality, inviting, well‑resourced environments and materials in each classroom and outdoors.
- Exemplify the highest level of business and personal integrity, be mission‑driven and have a team orientation at all times.
- Competently utilize High Scope Curriculum and COR Advantage to drive daily lesson planning, activities, and child experiences.
- Establish and maintain strong, proactive relationships and communications with families.
- Partner with educator teammates to ensure the entire experience for children, families, and the Brynmor team is one of mutual respect and shared responsibility.
- Role model integrity and honesty with the highest standards.
- Demonstrate strong service orientation and celebrate unique contributions.
- Embrace equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging to create a safe environment where team members can reach their full potential.
- Communicate challenges and opportunities to the Educator Team Lead and implement solutions.
- Balance entrepreneurial spirit with day‑to‑day needs of the program.
- Drive results with a bias for nurturing creativity, curiosity, and learning aligned with our vision and values.
- Minimum high school diploma with Child Development Associate (CDA). Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or closely related field preferred.
- Preferred experience in a NAEYC Accredited early education program.
- Preferred experience in High Scope curriculum.
- Familiarity with COR Advantage Assessment and Brightwheel childcare management welcomed.
- Familiarity with Reggio Emilia approaches and practices welcomed.
- Fluency in multiple languages welcomed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, sit on floor, kneel, bend, and carry young children.
- Compensation range: $47,000 to $62,000 annually.
