Phaxis Education is seeking an experienced High School Biology or Anatomy & Physiology Teacher to join a forward-focused school in Washington, DC.
This full-year role offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a General Education setting that supports both 504 students and those with mild Special Education needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong classroom management skills, autonomy, and the ability to engage students in a setting undergoing positive restructuring under new leadership.

- Experience teaching High School Biology and/or Anatomy & Physiology
- Proven ability to manage diverse classrooms and support students with behavioral needs
- Current or eligible DC Teaching Certification preferred (not required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or related field
- Experienced educators strongly preferred; not ideal for new graduates
