SummaryThe Teaching Assistant will run a weekly one-hour discussion section and be available to talk to students in one of the seven sections of Individual Freedom v. Authority offered in Spring 2026. They will consistently meet with the course’s professor to discuss class and coordinate section topics throughout the year.
Essential Functions- Run a weekly one-hour discussion section and be available to talk to students in one of the seven sections of Individual Freedom v. Authority offered in Fall 2025.
- Meet with the course’s professor to discuss class and coordinate section topics.
- Part-time.
- 5 scheduled hours per week.
- $17.95 per hour.
- Having previously taken Individual Freedom v. Authority (GOVT 105).
- Good understanding of the main issues of political philosophy.
- This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
