** The Associate Director for Academic Program Operations at the Earth Commons Institute plays a critical leadership role in building a vibrant, inclusive, and mission-aligned student experience. This position supports and facilitates co-curricular engagement, student affairs, and academic resources to support students' holistic development and academic success. They are also a central resource for program coordinators supporting Earth Commons degree programs.

This position is key to developing and fostering academic life and student experience for the Earth Commons.
** Duties include but are not limited to:
*** Providing program operations support and direction to program coordinators and directors across joint academic programs
* Leading Student Affairs efforts on behalf of the Earth Commons Institute in coordination with University Student Affairs offices
* Providing student support for students across programs in the Earth Commons; connecting with resources, key stakeholders, and facilitating needed support
* Serve as a resource to students, directors, and/or coordinators across all Earth Commons academic programs
* Collaborating with Program Directors at graduate and undergraduate levels to develop and provide opportunities for shared co-curricular programs
* Develop student co-curricular programming focused on Environment and Sustainability
* Lead the assessment of student engagement and co-curricular impact, including climate surveys, feedback collection, and learning outcomes tracking.
* Provide case management and support for students experiencing personal, academic, or behavioral challenges
** Work Interactions
** This role will be a primary representative to students across Earth Commons programs - undergraduate and graduate - working with students on a daily basis. They will work with Program Directors and program teams as well as Earth Commons leadership to support academic and student experiences. They will work closely with the Office of Student Affairs, and with the student services and academic affairs teams in partner schools and with the Office of the Provost.

** Requirements and Qualifications
*** Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Environmental Studies, or a closely related field.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in student life, academic affairs, or student support roles.
* Proven experience working collaboratively with faculty and academic programs.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Familiarity with interdisciplinary environmental education or experience in a sustainability-focused academic context.
* Experience supporting students in both academic and co-curricular settings.
* Strong communication, facilitation, and assessment skills.
