Job Location:

Washington, DC – Brynmor at Diplotots (on-site)

Reports to:

Educator Team Lead

Salary range: $22.60 to $27.90 per hour based on educational credentials and experience

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:00-4:00, 8:00-5:00, or 9:00 to 6:00

Ten weeks from 6/15/25 to 8/21/25

• Daily supervises all campers participating in scheduled camp events, ensures that all children are safe at all times.
• Build caring relationships with children and learn about their needs and goals.
• Tailor activities to the age and skill levels of campers.
• Communicate with families regarding camper’s progress and participation.
• Supervise camp field trips.
• Work with counselors to keep classroom clean and organized. At closing, reset classroom to be ready for next day’s activities.
• Communicate with Educator Team Lead each day to discuss progress, supplies, and plans for the week.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or Bachelor’s degree with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Preferred experience in a NAEYC Accredited early education program or significant experience in an early childhood education center or school-age program.
• Experience teaching school-age children.
• Familiarity with Brightwheel childcare management is welcomed.
• Fluency in multiple languages is welcomed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, sit on floor, kneel, bend, and carry young children.
