- Build meaningful relationships with your students.
- Lead instruction, from planning to executing engaging and rigorous lessons.
- Provide targeted support for students with academic needs in whole-group and small-group instruction.
- Create a joyful, efficient, learning-focused classroom experience that leads to exemplary growth in academic achievement and leadership skills.
- Collaborate with and support colleagues in building and refining the new middle school program through weekly professional development.
- Provide emotional constancy and support for your students and colleagues.
Communicate and work closely with students’ families. - Utilize Teach Like a Champion techniques to ensure routines and transitions are quick and effective.
- Receive regular, individualized coaching from Ingenuity Prep’s instructional leadership team to grow your practice.
- Experience and/or desire to serve as a lead middle school teacher in a low-income setting.
- Passion for providing rigorous instruction to students.
- Willingness to work closely with peers in a collaborative teaching setting.
- Commitment to a feedback-rich culture and eagerness to grow through coaching and professional development.
- History of effectively using academic data to drive whole-group and small-group instruction.
- Belief that effective instruction is filled with joy and rigor.
- Consistent track record of building strong relationships with students and partnering with families.
- High expectations for self and students.
- Highly competitive compensation for instructional and non‑instructional positions.

Salary: $64,890–$81,039 (commensurate with 1–10 years of experience)
