The George Washington University Law School invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty appointment in the Department of Law. The search is for a Professor of Law or Associate Professor of Law, beginning as early as Summer 2026. The school is especially interested in candidates to teach government contracts and related topics and criminal law and related topics. Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a J.D. degree or an advanced degree in a relevant field, and have relevant experience such as teaching, legal practice, or judicial clerkships, particularly in government contracts law, criminal law, or related disciplines. Applicants must also have a strong academic record that demonstrates potential for superb teaching and scholarly promise, evidenced by publications in scholarly journals or works in progress.

Advertised Salary:
The salary range for faculty hired at the rank of Associate is $200,000 - $225,000. The salary range for faculty hired at the rank of Professor is $225,000 - $300,000.
